According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, the Dallas Cowboys are evaluating veterans like Jonathan Vilma and Brian Urlacher as they search for Sean Lee’s replacement for the upcoming season.
Cowboys evaluating all options for replacing LB Sean Lee, including vets like Brian Urlacher and Jon Vilma. Will likely be 2-player platoon

It’s not at all that Vilma and Urlacher are the Cowboys top options at this point. Urlacher hasn’t played since 2012 and Vilma hasn’t been healthy in a few years.
Veterans like Pat Angerer and Dan Connor, who started his career in Dallas are also available.
It really doesn’t matter who the Cowboys sign, there’s no way they can replace Lee.
Update: Dallas doesn’t have much interest in Vilma or Urlacher.
Update: Urlacher is still considered an option.
